With focus on exceptional service and style, Wellington's menu features Contemporary Fusion Cuisine, created by our award winning Executive Chef, E. Scott Phillips. When looking for fine dining in Johnson City, experience the Wellington's restaurant, Filled with antique structures and original paintings, encompassed by warm mahogany and cherry woods, the grand dining room combines a warm, intimate atmosphere with an unforgettable array of tantalizing treats. The seating is very diverse. Choose a very secluded booth or a front row seat for the performance viewed through our enormous kitchen window, which allows you to view the Chef and his team energetically create, quite literally, an edible work of art.

One antique structure you won't want to miss is the antique bar salvaged from an old bar in Chicago, but Wellington's antique bar is serving up more than just history. Featuring Johnson City's most comprehensive selection of top quality liquor and liqueurs, Wellington's offers a distinctive selection of premium scotches as well as an assortment of wines, cognacs, and spirits for any occasion.

As the Wellington's concept evolved, we immediately began expanding the wine program, boasting a wine cellar unequaled in the market. Red wines are the most popular, and expanding the full-bodied and imported red wine selections became a top priority. The list has proved successful as wine sales have increased beyond our expectations.

In the upcoming year, expanding the wine list will again be our concentration, focusing on more imports, which appeal to our local and transient clientele who frequent the hotel on a consistent basis. The focus on imported selections will include more French white wines, more red Bordeaux and other imported reds, and an increase in sparkling and dessert wines. This year we also plan to offer a wider range of wine varietals and wine regions.

Late evenings on Friday and Saturday, spontaneous dancing has been known to break out as patrons enjoy Brent Billheimer's lively music on the historic Steinway Baby Grand Piano.

Both art and food reflect the environments in which they are created. The inviting atmosphere at Wellington's Restaurant provides the perfect backdrop for an exquisite dining experience; definitely one to remember. Our staff is knowledgeable, professional and attentive, but not intrusive. We believe that a meal, like any work of art is enjoyed most when you are most comfortable. Every dish at Wellington's is a Signature dish of our extremely talented Executive Chef, from the breakfast menu to the dessert menu, and everything in between.
